  • 401K Match: After one year of service, employees are given an employer paid match against their own 401K contributions to assist with long-term retirement savings goals.

  • Anniversary Award: We celebrate the longevity of our hardworking employees! Beginning at 10 years of employment with NYAP, and at regular intervals to follow, employees receive a stipend and additional Goodwill days to enjoy a trip of their choice. Trips are specifically encouraged to provide employees an opportunity to experience and learn from other cultures along their journey.

  • Employee Assistance (Ability Assistance Program): The well-being of our employees is one of our utmost priorities. Employee assistance includes low or no cost counseling and other mental health resources for all eligible employees.

  • Life Insurance & Long-Term Disability: NYAP provides company-paid life insurance, as well as optional life insurance for your spouse or dependents. We also provide additional resources to help replace a portion of your income if you are unable to work for a long period of time.

  • NYAP Benefits Coordinator: We want to make sure our employees have the support of a dedicated Benefits Coordinator is available to help navigate making benefit choices as needed.

  • Paid Annual Holidays: NYAP annually provides employees with 11 paid federal holidays. To honor employees’ diverse family traditions and cultures, NYAP offers employees the flexibility to observe holidays that represent their own values and beliefs.

  • Parental Leave: After 6 months of service, employees are eligible for 4 weeks of paid weekly salary, excluding overtime, to new parents who have given birth to a child, are a spouse or committed partner of an individual who has given birth, have adopted a child aged 17 or younger*, or have accepted a new foster child aged 17 or younger into their home. Parental leave may run concurrently with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) as applicable. Employees who do not qualify for FMLA may still take parental leave and will be afforded the same level of job protection during the approved parental leave period.

  • Peace Leave: As part of our tagline Caring for People, Connecting Communities, Promoting Peace, NYAP works hard to promote peace and encourages our employees to do the same. NYAP provides paid leave for opportunities to work on projects that demonstrate the organization's values and strengthen communities resulting in a world that is more fair, peaceful, and just. This benefit is available after one year of employment with NYAP

  • Student Loan & Tuition Repayment: NYAP offers Tuition IO to assist in repaying any student loan borrowed in your name.  This benefit is available after 30 days of employment with NYAP. Each additional year, NYAP's contribution increases, accelerating the pay-off of student loan debt.

  • Summer Hours: Every year between Memorial Day and Labor Day, NYAP employees are given the opportunity, depending on workload, to end work midday Friday to spend more time in the sun with family and friends.

  • Tuition Assistance: NYAP seeks to assist our employees in their educational goals, furthering their career and opportunities with NYAP. Tuition assistance is available to full-time employees after one year of full-time employment.
