Conflict Resolution Statement

As individuals from many backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences, we come together for the common purpose of helping children, youth, families, and communities. Despite our best efforts, from time to time, misunderstandings arise, although through enhanced communication and clarification of the issues at hand, nearly all misunderstandings and conflicts can be readily resolved.  Here at NYAP, it is an expectation that we address and resolve disagreements with one another in a collegial, respectful, and professional manner so we can truly live into our tag line of:  “Caring for People, Connecting Communities and Promoting Peace” by role modeling peaceful solutions within our workplace.
