Homeless Youth Program
The mission of NYAP’s Homeless Youth Program is to respond to the growing number of youth, ages 14 to 24, who do not have immediate access to a safe environment. Homeless Youth Programming provides interim housing in host homes certified in crisis intervention. These homes meet the immediate basic needs to homeless youth who are not in the care of the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS). NYAP offers immediate service planning to youth, while fully utilizing available resources to facilitate a holistic approach in caring for the youth in our community.
